Bangalore: Bipasha Basu, the sex icon of India, is currently in the news for her argument with Deepika Padukone. Bips and Dippy are a part of the film “Dum Maaro Dum”, of Rohan Sippy. Bipasha is the female lead in the movie. Dippy has got an item number in the film. But Bips is very unhappy as the posters of the film have Deepika on it, not her. She feels this will misguide the people, because Deepika is not even acting in the film, has got only an item number to perform, while she being the main female lead of the movie, is missing in the posters. Rohan Sippy, clarified that Dippy will be seen only in the title song “Dum Maaro Dum” and on the poster she can be hardly recognised. Earlier, in the film “Bachna Ae Haseena”, both of the ladies had a tiff going on in between them. Now, that they are starring again together in the same film, breeds controversy.
Dev anand, had problems with the title of this film being named after the song from “Hare ram hare krishna”. He was very disturbed with the fact that none talked to him about the rights of the song. Then, the Goan government objected to the fact that Goa was shown in the movie as the home of mafias and drug addicts. And now, this two ladies engaged in a cold war between themselves.
All these are loading the interests of the audience to watch the movie.
