Amrita Rao dating Neil Kulkarni?
Mumbai, March 1 - Amrita Rao, the girl next door who transformed herself into a hottie for “Short kut: The Con Is On” movie, after her previous films failed to impress the audience, is the talk of the town for her affair with a NRI doctor. This Bollywood actress debuted with the film “Ab Ke baras” in 2002, though she grabbed eyeballs with her roles in Ken Ghosh’s “Ishq Vishk” and Farah Khan’s “Main Hoon Na”. In 2009, she stormed the audience’s hearts by going bolder in “Short Kut: The Con Is On”, where she flaunted her curves without inhibitions by wearing bikinis and revealing dresses.
Previously, this bold actress was linked up with several actors. It was even rumoured that Amrita dated Shahid Kapoor, but after sometime these rumours died out.
But now, Amrita is dating Neil Kulkarni, a NRI orthopaedic surgeon. They met in San Francisco, at a charity event sometime in August, last year. Amrita was shooting in San Francisco for the movie “Love You Mr Kalakar”, produced by Rajshri Pictures.
Though their relationship is a long distance one, but they meet at times, like Neil came to India to spend time with Amrita on New Year. Amrita managed to keep this a secret affair all this time, yet this news finally busted out. Even then, her secretary when asked about her and Neil’s affair stated Amrita is busy with her career and does not have time for anything else.
Amrita Rao dating an NRI surgeon!
The rumours that suggested Amrita Rao was dating Shahid Kapoor can safely be put to rest.
Yes, Shahid has had Priyanka Chopra as his ladylove for quite long now but here's the other side of the story. Amrita has been in a long-distance relationship with an NRI from San Francisco.
Our source said, "Amrita was once in the news for being artist MF Hussain's muse. Later, Bollywood was always abuzz with rumours about Amrita dating different men but most of the rumours fell flat after a point of time.
But this time she seems to have finally found love. Amrita has been dating a certain Neil Kulkarni, an NRI orthopaedic surgeon based out of San Francisco."
In August, last year, the actress was in the midst of her Rajshri Production shoot for Love You Mr Kalakar in San Francisco.
She also participated in promoting a charity event there, during which she apparently met Neil.
They say, Amrita's aunt introduced the two and also told her that he would be the perfect guy for her. Kulkarni works for one of the top hospitals there. According to sources, he too was quite smitten by Amrita.
The source added, "Amrita has tried hard to keep her personal life under wraps. Though it is a long-distance relationship, both Amrita and Neil are trying their level best to keep the romance alive.
Neil made a trip to Mumbai to bring in the New Year with Amrita. But she did not allow the information to go out."
When contacted, Amrita Rao did not revert but her publicist said, "Career is all that's on Amrita's mind and she has no time for love."

Amrita Rao is now exploring Shreyas's ' raw' talent
Amrita Rao is very impressed by her co-star Shreyas Talpade in the film ' Welcome to Sajjanpur ' directed by Shyam Benegal. “He’s a powerhouse of raw talent. I had cried buckets while watching him in Iqbal and laughed like crazy watching him in Dor. He is really versatile and a very nice human being,” Amrita said in an recent interview. Not surprisingly, the two bonded really well even off the sets, what with Shreyas also admitting to being extremely impressed by Amrita’s acting capabilities (!). Well, let's see... On her Affair : Till date, I haven’t been able to fathom as to how the rumours of my link-up with Goher (of Jal band fame) started. Neither I, nor Goher need to resort to a publicity stunt to promote ourselves because both of us are doing quite well in bollywood. In the face of such baseless stories and gossips , I maintained my dignity and chose not to react.On her Dream guy : He maybe on the horizon, but alas, the horizon itself is very hazy. Let’s hope that soon the clouds will clear, and my dream guy will emerge from that haze and enliven my life some more.
