Superhero looks impossible as of now- Aamir Khan
Mumbai- Bollywood star Aamir Khan remained tight-lipped with respect to Shah Rukh’s upcoming home production “Ra One”.Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh have always been competitors despite sharing a cordial relationship. When asked to comment on Shah Rukh’s “Ra One”, he stated that he has not seen the promos of the film yet and so he cannot comment on the film.
When asked if he has any plans of playing the role of a superhero in the future he stated that he enjoys playing the role of a hero in his films and that as of now superhero is no where in the list.
He is supporting Darsheel Safary for his upcoming film Zokkomon where he plays the role of a superhero. It was Aamir Khan who had launched this child actor in Taare Zameen Par.
He is happy that Walt Disney has come up with a children film as till date just a handful of children films have been made. Zokkomon will hit theatres this summer.
He conveyed his best wishes to the entire cast and crew of Zokkomon. It was a dream cum true opportunity for Darsheel to play the role of a superhero in a film.

News has it that Nita and Mukesh Ambani will throw a small bash for him and felicitate him in their own little way. "They are planning to hold a party. We don't know how lavish it will be. But they are yet to ask Sachin. He's a very private person and may want to spend his special day with his family."
If the Ambanis do throw a bash for him, a few Bollywood celebrities are expected. " Aamir Khan and the Bachchans will surely be on the list. The Ambanis may even invite the fellow owners of other IPL teams - so that'll have Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra on the guest list, too. But nothing is certain as of now. After impressing everyone with a stellar cameo in Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na, Manjari Fadnis is eagerly awaiting her next big Bollywood project Zokkomon, where she shares screen space with Darsheel Safary.
And the actress admits that she thought Darsheel was a very naughty kid before she started shooting for the film. "I thought that he must be a real brat but I soon realised that he is a wonderful child. We had an amazing time on the sets and in between shots, we did a lot of masti. Both of us being Shiamak Davar students, we had a blast dancing away to heart's content by playing music in full volume! I play Darsheel's guardian angel in the film. I am talkathon personified in real life and had a lot of fun chatting with him," shares Manjari.
Why is she doing a Hindi film after so long? "I did get several Bollywood offers after Jaane Tu..., but none of those were roles that excited me much. I was very clear in my mind that after doing such a good project, it had to be something really nice or nothing at all. The fact that Aamir Khan himself recommended my name for Zokkomon to director Satyajit Bhatkal, his friend, makes me feel very proud. I want to be selective and do some great work, whether it's in Bollywood or Telegu films. I enjoy doing romantic comedies the most. I am a romantic at heart and believe that if guided properly, I can really excel in that genre," says Manjari.

While Shah Rukh's Don 2 will release in December as scheduled, Kagti's Aamir-starrer will be pushed to release on another day. Reason? Don was a hit, and the so sequel is being looked forward to. Also, Don 2 is made on a big budget. Reema Kagti's film, on the other hand, is a small-budget film.
The producers thought it best to shift the date for the betterment of the production. Aamir Khan let his director and producers decide on when the film should be released. So there'll be no Aamir-SRK clash this year as there was when Ghajini and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi released around the same time in 2008.

The cult comedy starring Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon will soon have a sequel.
However, the second instalment will not have any scope for the lead stars. Talking on the sidelines of FICCI FRAMES 2011 conclave, Sidhartha M Jain or iRock Productions revealed, "We have plans underway for Andaz Apna Apna sequel. Unlike the original that was live action, the sequel will be an animation film. This is the first time in India that such a thing is happening."
When asked about the involvement of Salman and Aamir in the sequel, Jain said, "We are still looking for a director for the second instalment and once that is finalised we'll talk to Salman and Aamir to voice the characters. If that doesn't materialise, we will go for other alternatives. But for now the idea is to have the Khans on board," he signed off.

Yes, in fact I've enrolled for swimming lessons with Mickey Mehta. I have to swim in Reema's film. Actually I'm very excited about this one. After 3-Idiots this is my next film. I was in Dhobi Ghaat, but it was more Kiran's movie.
You also have conversations only in Marathi?
With my staff I only speak in Marathi. My teacher Suhas Limaye says that it is the best way to polish my language. I have poor language skills; I'm a little slow but I am thoroughly enjoying speaking the language.
What's this cooking thing you are getting into?
Cooking is also something I want to learn. Honestly, I haven't started.
One hears Kiran and you have moved into your mother's house?
Yes, Kiran and I are now sleeping in the bedroom where I spent my childhood. My mother has come to live in my building; Kiran and I have moved upstairs to her home. Our things are still in our home downstairs but we sleep and wake up in mom's house. After pack up, I go straight to mom's house and I am with her till bedtime.
What according to you is your biggest achievement in the year gone by?
I have given the industry two women directors-Anusha Rizvi (Peepli Live) and Kiran Rao (Dhobi Ghat). I've supported talent that I believe in and I have also shown that art house movies which earlier collected two-three crores can collect as much as 15 crore-plus.
Is Delhi Belly also art-house?
No. It is a kameena commercial film.

Aamir Khan celebrates his birthday on March 14. The actor will complete 46 years. The future, numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts is only going to shine brighter on the Khan, who already features in the top rung of actors.
"Aamir will be entering his 47th year which happens to be his 'destiny' number and the only way his graph will go from now on is up," says Sangghvi.
His forthcoming production 'Delhi Belly' will be successful at the box office, Aamir will stand his own in Reema Kagti's movie, but it's Aamir Khan-starrer Dhoom 3 that's all set to break box office records, predicts Bhavikk.
So the successful Aamir Khan is only going to become more successful and powerful in 2011!

Don 2 is slated to release by the end of this year in December 2011 but that did not stop us from asking the hunky Kunal Kapoor what's in store of us in this Don flick.
"Shah Rukh is inexhaustible. He is so energetic all the time" said Kunal of his Don 2 co-star.

'3 Idiots' coming to US on DVD April 26
Bollywood's highest grossing award winning hit film " 3 Idiots" is all set to be released in DVD in the US and Canada on April 26 by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
The DVD of the film starring award winning actors Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Sharman Joshi has some new, exclusive bonus features: Idiots in Ladakh, Aal Izz Well, 100 percent Idiots and Making of Miss Idiot.
The refreshing comedy about a rebellious prankster with a crafty mind and a heart of gold name covers the exploits of "Rancho" at India's most prestigious university.

Darsheel turns 15, spends birthday in Sri Lanka
New Delhi, March 9 – Child actor Darsheel Safary, who made it big in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s directorial debut ‘Taare Zameen Par’, celebrated his 15th birthday Wednesday in Sri Lanka.
Darsheel spent the day sight-seeing, bonding and playing with baby elephants and visiting Buddhist shrines, among other things, and even got a laptop as a birthday gift, said a source.
After ‘Taare Zameen Par’, Darsheel was seen in Priyadarshan’s ‘Bumm Bumm Bole’, and now he will be seen in Walt Disney’s ‘Zokkomon’. The trailers of the movie will be released this week.
Directed by Satayjit Bhatkal, ‘Zokkomon’ is an action adventure film about an ordinary boy who meets extraordinary challenges. It is scheduled for an April 22 release.
