Sheen is most self-destructive person I have ever met: Kacey Jordan

Washington, Mar 1Charlie Sheen’s 22-year-old porn star pal Kacey Jordan has said that the actor is the most self-destructive person she has ever met.

Jordan, who was promised 5,000 dollars for an appearance at Sheen’s party in late January, said she found him in a sorry state.

“His teeth were all gold. I see him as that guy on that show-you know, a celebrity. But he told me he has to put on fake teeth for his show,” Popeater.com quoted her as telling the magazine.

Sheen informed Jordan of his plan to create a “porn family” and all live under one roof.

“He said that he was going to take care of us. It was just going to be a big party house. He was all about partying, partying, partying, partying. Never a rest,” said Jordan.

Hours into the bender, Jordan found herself alone with Sheen. Sheen asked her to hold him almost immediately after he requested oral sex while smoking cocaine from a pipe.

Lady Gaga gives birth in provocative new “Born This Way” music video

London, Mar 1Lady Gaga is known for putting a lot of thought into everything she does – from her performances to her over-the-top outfits. Her newly released music video for ‘Born This Way’ is no exception.

The provocative and risque new clip, set in outer space, shows the 24-year-old pop singer giving birth to an unknown being, striping off to her underwear for a dance routine and getting dressed up as a skeleton in a suit, reports the Daily Mail.

The seven-and-a-half minute video begins with Gaga floating in space and explaining via voiceover the premise of the story and its extra terrestrial location on G.O.A.T – A Government Owned Alien Territory.

‘This is the manifesto of mother monster’, she begins as the movie style music video opens with a two minute music less intro.

“As the wombs numbered and the mitosis of the future began, it was perceived that this infamous moment in life is not temporal, it is eternal. and thus began the the beginning of the new race, a race within the race of humanity, a race which bears no prejudice, no judgment, but boundless freedom,” she continues as a holographic split screen shows what appears to be Gaga giving birth.

“But on that same day, as the eternal mother hovered in the multiverse, another more terrifying birth took place: the birth of evil,” she continues as the video shows her in blackness and then shooting a machine gun.

For the rest of the video, Gaga spends most of the time dancing in underwear alongside a group of scantily clad men and women against a completely black backdrop.

The video, released on Monday morning, was directed by fashion and advertising photographer Nick Knight and choreographed by Laurie Ann Gibson. (ANI)

Oprah Winfrey’s OWN struggling to pull in viewers

London, March 1Oprah Winfrey’s TV channel, OWN, is reportedly struggling to pull in the viewers.

According to the New York Times, figures from Nielsen show ratings are down 10 per cent on Discovery Health – the channel OWN has replaced, reports the Daily Mail.

Just 135,000 are viewing Winfrey’s channel at any one time and only 45,000 of these are the target demographic of women aged 25 to 54.

However, the TV host and her partner Discovery Communications have told sceptics to be patient especially because she only has a minimal presence on the channel until The Oprah Winfrey Show – currently on ABC – ends its run in September.

At the moment OWN is relying on shows like ‘Our America’, a series of documentaries hosted by Lisa Ling.

Christina Norman, chief executive of OWN, said the channel is still aiming to accumulate 50 to 60million viewers each month. It currently has 42million.

She said viewers expected a lot of original programming, and aren’t tuning in for repeats.

Winfrey has also reiterated this message. (ANI)

Nelly Furtado to donate $1M paycheck from Qaddafi to charity

Washington, March 1 – Canadian singer Nelly Furtado has announced on Twitter that she will donate 1 million dollars she earned performing for the family of Libya’s embattled leader, Muammar al-Qaddafi, to charity.

Lindsay Lohan, James Franco to pose naked for sexually explicit book?

Washington, March 01 – If reports are to be believed, then Lindsay Lohan has inked a deal worth almost 3,400,000 dollars to produce a sexually explicit book with controversial photographer Terry Richardson.

According to a report in the UK’s Herald Sun newspaper, much like Madonna’s 1992 book ‘Sex,’ the ‘Mean Girls’ star is planning to strip down to the altogether in a series of explicit nude photos.

Instead of using Vanilla Ice as her sexual muse, Lohan has reportedly enlisted former fling James Franco to get naked with her.

While in this case, Lohan seems to have marginally better taste in men than Madonna, the book will hardly cover new ground.

“There will be a lot of nakedness–some of it graphic and suggestive–but it will be a real statement book. Obviously, there will be comparisons to Madonna’s book. But James and Lindsay believe theirs will be classier,” Fox News quoted a source as saying. (ANI)

According to the New York Times, the Gaddafi clan has been spending as lavishly on entertainers as they have on weapons in recent years.

Beyonce and Usher reportedly performed for Gaddafi’s son Muatassim at this year’s New Year eve party on the Caribbean island of St. Barts.

A year earlier, Seif al-Islam el-Gaddafi, another Gaddafi son, also paid Mariah Carey $1 million to sing just four songs at the New Year bash, the paper said last week.

Abhishek and Aishwarya got a chance invite to the prestigious event, where Hollywood’s Who’s Who gathers to celebrate international cinema. The duo was holidaying in Los Angeles and were not at all prepared to attend such a high-profile event at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood Sunday night.

However, last minute help from their designer friends helped them put their best foot forward at the red carpet.

Aishwarya sparkled in an off-shoulder Armani Prive bronze gown and kept her look minimalistic with just a pair of dangling earrings and hair on one side of the shoulder.

Abhishek looked dapper in a traditional, formal black tuxedo.

Mallika, one of the most talked about Bollywood glamour girls, flaunted a sequinned white gown, with a daring front slit and a plunging neckline – just as she likes it always!

Among other Indians at the Oscars this year were composer A.R. Rahman, who was nominated in two categories – best original score and best original song – for his work in Danny Boyle’s “127 Hours”. However, he lost out on both the titles.

Rosario Dawson, Paul Rudd, Eva Mendes public foreplay at Spirit Awards

London, Feb 28 – Actress Rosario Dawson was photographed grabbing actor Paul Rudd’s crotch while he in turn grabbed actress Eva Mendes’ right breast at the Spirit Awards.

Dawson, 31, then inexplicably joined them on stage at the Santa Monica, California event, and made a beeline for Rudd’s testicles, grabbing them tightly with her right hand.

Rudd was shocked at first but did not bother to release her grip, much to the amusement of Mendes.

As he stood with his man bits in the palm of Dawson’s hand, cheeky Rudd swung his left arm around Mendes and grabbed her boob with his right.

The bizarre three-way foreplay had the audience open-mouthed before Rudd and Mendes finally got on with the job of announcing the winner. (ANI)

Monica Bedi begins new innings in Nepal

Kathmandu, Feb 28 – Thirteen years after she acted in her last film of note, “Tirchhi Topiwale”, Monica Bedi, better known as the companion of jailed mafia don Abu Salem, has begun a new innings in Nepal, acting in a new film that could be the mirror image of her own aspirations.

The 36-year-old, whose glamorous looks survived her long ordeal in the past when the Indian government sought her extradition from Portugal along with Salem, and her subsequent stay in prison for passport forgery, starts shooting in a Nepali film, “Parichay”, directed by Mumbai-based director Akash Pandey.

On Saturday, soon after she flew into Kathmandu and dumped her baggage in a hotel in Thamel, the prime tourist hub in the Nepali capital, Monica was followed by the paparazzi to an ethnic restaurant in the Lazimpat area where she went to savour Nepali food and culture.

It was in the same neighbourhood that Nepali media baron Jamim Shah, alleged to have close links with underworld king Dawood Ibrahim, was gunned down in broad daylight in February 2010. Bharat Nepali, another mafia hit man who claimed responsibility for Shah’s killing, was himself shot dead in Bangkok nine months later.

Monica, whose links with the underworld have remained the subject of unquenched speculation, looked unaware of the gangster history of the area as she smilingly posed for photographers in dark skintight trousers topped by a dark Reebok jacket over a jazzy T-shirt, boots and a pair of large sunglasses.

While refusing to comment on the fake passport charge that landed her in prison in India, Monica was, however, happy to talk about the new celluloid venture that has cast her opposite Nikhil Upreti, Nepal’s action hero who last year left the Nepali film industry to carve out a niche in Bollywood.

Much of the shooting will be done in idyllic tourist town Pokhara, where earlier Govinda, Priyanka Chopra and decades ago Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman had flocked to shoot their new films.

In “Parichay”, Monica plays a girl from a middle-class family who works in an office but is driven by dogged ambition to become a film star.

It could be the true life story of the girl who was born in a village in Punjab and then taken, as a babe in arms, to Norway by her parents. But at 18, she spurned the staid and respectable life of her parents, who ran a garments store, to return to India to seek adventure and her fortune in Mumbai’s tinsel town.

Being made in Nepali and believed to have the investment of non-resident Nepalis, “Parichay” unfolds after Monica meets Nikhil at a dance bar and the two fall in love and marry, only to be parted by her unbridled ambition.

Years later, when both have carved out their own identities they meet again, leading to a twist in the plot.

The rest of the film will also be shot in India and Thailand.

Tanu Weds Manu get a respectable start at Box Office

After getting rave reviews the film Tanu Weds Manu had a satisfactory opening in North India on Friday morning. Though Friday was a working day, Tanu Weds Manu saw 40% to 50% of audience during the morning and the afternoon at several screens.

The response else where apart from North ranged to below average (20 % to 25%). It was predicted earlier that very much like family based films like Hum Saath Saath Hai, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, the film will also not have a thunderous start.

With the fantastic promotions for Tanu Weds Manu the film has the potential to grow with passing days. Both audiences feed backs and critics reviews are positive and will help the film to do a bigger and better business.

Aamir pairing up with Katrina?

It was earlier reported that Aamir Khan was not very keen on working with Bollywood's most desirable actress Katrina Kaif, as she was Salman Khan's girlfriend. He did not want to romance Salman's girl on-screen.

However, when Aamir Khan was asked about it the actor told that Katrina is a huge star and no filmmaker has offered them any proposal of working together.

The recent news suggests that a big banner has offered a project and wants Aamir and Katrina to team up for the film.

Aamir and Katrina share a great work compatibility and it was discovered when they did a photo shoot as Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman on the cover of a magazine. However, it is true that a photo shoot does not stand anywhere in front of making a film. The situations will be totally different.

Well, now when Katrina and Salman Khan have parted ways, will Aamir come forward to work with Katrina Kaif is a question that remains un-answered. We can just hope to see them on-screen pairing opposite each other.

Is it smooch and forget case for Anushka?

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama actress Anushka Sharma talks about her relationship with Band Baaja Baaraat co-star Ranveer Singh. The actress says that she hates Ranveer, "Ya, I hate many things about him. When we are together we are constantly arguing and quarrelling. It's impossible for me to even imagine being in a relationship with Ranveer."

She also agreed that her constantly being spotted with Ranveer has fueled up the rumours. However, she said that she couldn't help but doing that as it was the need of the moment for the promotions of her film Band Baaja Baaraat.

The actress said that the constant rumours about Ranveer and her affair has affected her family's peace and thus she is spending a lot of time with them in-order to compensate her absence. She wants to stay close to her friends and family.

Well, Anushka if you don't mind people speculating about you, then why are you getting so possessive about your family? And yes what do you have to say about the kiss that you and Ranveer shared at Shahid Kapoor's party.

Is it also a 'just friends' smooch? Or is it a 'smooch, kiss and forget' case!

However, the film The King's Speech has already been screened at several International Film Festivals. Earlier, it has topped the winners list of BAFTA Awards 2011 by bagging seven top awards out of its 14 nominations. It has also bagged one Golden Globe award out of its seven nominations.

Shahrukh Khan: Can he be blamed for ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ fiasco?

Though some of you readers are staunch Shahrukh Khan fans and support him through thick and thin, even you would agree that his latest TV show ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ has backfired at him and he, himself, has received the biggest ‘Jhatka’ of his life.

This has been one of the floppest ventures of SRK’s career and the low TRPs are evidence enough to suggest that his dominance in films hasn’t rubbed on to the TV world. The show ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ went on air on 1st February, 2011 riding on huge hype and expectations.

Based on the international show ‘WipeOut’, it is a game show where the contestants (small-time celebs) battle it out for the prize money. It is aired on NDTV Imagine. Though the show is reminiscent of ‘Takeshi’s Castle’ of Pogo, ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’ lacks the spunk and thrill that comes with the former.

And SRK himself is on the receiving end of the flak since some critics are questioning his integrity. Apparently, he did the job half-heartedly and didn’t show his full commitment. For instance, he never flew down to Argentine to gel with the contestants but shot his portions in a local studio. His shots were attached to the Argentina shoot in a manner that it looked as if he was present on the location.

However, the end product did not turn out to be as juicy as the viewers were expecting. May be, SRK should make a thorough research before taking up a project.
